Good afternoon everyone! Each year at the MVRA Trail Run 5k/10k we give away scholarships to local high school seniors involved in the running community! For anyone that came in and took a free class we would comp them up to 3 additional classes until the end of December to get them to the start of January

Hello runners! Just a reminder that our rescheduled Trot for Toys Run will be TOMORROW Morning! A few things regarding tomorrows run!

Below are copies of the two routes for our Saturday Event.
The main route is the 9.5 mile Tri-State route looping from IA to WI, IL and back. We also have a shorter 5.5 mile route that goes down the Riverwalk through AY McDonald Park and back.…
For anyone doing the longer route; if you need to stash water or extra clothes (gloves, hats, etc.), I will be in the white Jeep Cherokee driving back and forth around the loop making sure everyone is doing ok. I can hold and drop off gear and nutrition for you and if you need assistance, directions or a lift back just call 563-213-8970 and we will right there.
We will have donuts and juice at the end so feel free to hang after to warm up... looking forward to seeing everyone, this is always a fun time and a great cause!

The Mines of Spain 100 Trail Race is just 10 days away, beginning on Oct. 17th, and our Cattesse Aid Station still needs volunteers, especially for the overnight shift (Friday 8 PM–Saturday 4 AM).

Volunteers help keep runners going strong through the night by:
• Serving drinks and preparing food
• Filling bottles and hydration packs
• Organizing drop bags
• Keeping the music going
• Cheering and energizing everyone who comes through

No experience needed. Just bring your energy, good vibes, and a willingness to help!

The Mines of Spain 100 Trail Race is just under three weeks away, and we’re getting ready to welcome athletes at the Cattesse Aid Station.

The race kicks off Friday, October 17 at 8:00 AM, and runners have 33 hours to finish. That means we need volunteers to help keep the aid station running, especially between Friday 8:00 PM and Saturday 3:00 PM.

Even if you can only help for a short shift, it makes a big difference. No experience needed, just bring your energy and encouragement!
