Ole Miss Walleye Circuit

Hello everyone I hope this finds you all safe and well! We are looking at the weekend of May 10th for our first tournament of the year out of Dubuque. I will be applying for ramp permit this week and will post an update as soon as I find out! Thanks guys and get out and take advantage of the awesome weather and good bite going on right now. Also good luck to anyone fishing the AIM tournament out of Bellevue this weekend! Should eve some monster weights coming in!!

Hey guys we hope you all wintered well and are ready for the open water season to begin. We have a few dates in mind for some tournaments this coming season and will keep you informed here on this page as to when we will start the season. We are hoping to do a few more tournaments this year but will play it by ear. Also we are going to most likely do some CPR events as well. See you soon guys and be safe above all!

So I received a call from Brian Houselog who was awarded the $100 Big Sauger prize at the tournament Saturday. He told me that he did not in fact have the biggest sauger that it was the team of Gabe Gallegos and his partner Brodie. I got ahold of Gabe and told him the situation and he was thrilled that Brian did this. The money has gone to the correct team. This is the reason l love the guys I have fished with for years. Brian could have easily kept that money and not said a word but he has integrity and did the right thing. Thank you Brian for your honesty. This speaks volumes of the kind of guys that fish our tournaments. I apologize for the mix up and will definitely do better going forward.

Ok guys the next tournament will be Saturday November 15th on pool 12 locking one up and one down. 5 fish limit sauger and walleye 15 inch minimum. Rules meeting will be at 5pm on Friday the 14th at the Veterans Memorial again. IT IS MANDATORY THAT ONE PERSON FROM EVERY TEAM ATTEND THE RULES MEETING! Entry fee is the same $200 with $25 of that going to Big Fish pot. Again cash and Venmo for payment. I will try to get a flyer out this week. Spread the word the bite should be on fire. 🔥

Good morning anglers! Well after talking to a few guys at and after our last weigh in Shelly and I decided we are going to have another tournament😀 We had a few hiccups in the last one and are working to correct those. Thanks to the Mississippi Walleye Club for donating your spare scale to us. This is the scale that was used when we fished the WAT so I’m sure it is better than my original. So down to the good stuff. The tournament is going to be on November 15th. It is a Saturday tournament and also the day before the walleye clubs final tournament of the year. We will be having another rules meeting on Friday November 14th at the same place down by the Veterans Memorial. It is imperative that at least one person from each team attend this meeting!!! There were some discrepancies last weekend with some rules that were covered at the meeting. So I am going to apply for the ramp permit and will keep you all posted💋

Wow what a day we had with our first tournament!! Like I said to the guys at the end of the day we will only get bigger and better. We had a few hiccups but that is to be expected. Thank you all so much for joining us and thank you again to the teams that travelled to come and fish. Congratulations to the winners and top finishers and again thank you for a great start!
