🤩 Yesterday was a fun day at Section 7A Prelims. Thank you SMA students, staff and parents for such an amazing send-off. The girls all swam great and had some impressive time drops. 🙌 We have eight swimmers who finished in the top 16 and advance to Section Finals tomorrow. Our 200 Medley Relay (Anya, Ella, Eleanor and Dakota) will compete in the Top 8. Eleanor (200 IM and 100 breaststroke) and Ella (100 breaststroke) get to compete in the Top 8 in their individual events as well. Way to make a splash 💦 💪 🏊‍♀️ 😊 at our very first Section meet for Stella Maris Academy!! 💙🖤💙

Congratulations to our swimmers who competed in the Little Giant Junior High Championships today! They had a day filled with fast swims, PRs and lots of prayers and cheers for teammates and swimmers on other teams.
We took down TWO meet records today- Ella Stone in the 7th grade 100 Breaststroke and Eleanor Enslin in the 8th grade 100 Breaststroke.
We finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the 7th (and under) 100 breaststroke- Ella Stone, Teagan Gallagher and Paige Eberth and had so many more top 3 finishes. 🙌 🏅 💙🖤💙
These girls are all amazing in and out of the pool. I’m so proud of them and so so thankful I get to be their coach!

Congratulations Sentinel swimmers for representing Stella Maris Academy well at the Taconite Invite hosted by Mesabi East on Saturday. These girls swam hard and cheered loud! - for each other and for friends competing with other teams. The swim community in the Northland is strong and we are thankful to be a part of it.

It was a great first week of school and a fun week of swimming for these girls. The hard work is paying off and times are dropping. They swam hard against Ogilvie/ Mora and Holdingford on Thursday. We had a blast at Spartan Relays in Superior today. Awesome job, Sentinel swimmers!! 🤩 💙🖤💙

We had a blast volunteering at the Chum Rhubarb Festival! This is such an amazing community event. We ❤️ Rhubarbara!
