A record was set at the 2026 Pheasants Forever 2026! The first 100 straight for the tournament was achieved by Tygan Nelson! Way to go Tygan! He EARNED Champion of the tournament! 🙌🏻

With a score of 98, Caden Peterson brought home 3rd place male varsity. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Lily Erickson brought home first place female with a score of 95. Zoe Amborn’s 94 was right on her tail and in 2nd place, winning a shoot out. 🎉🎉🎉

Sofia McCaffrey owned first place JV female with a score of 85. 🙌🏻

Our top team dropped only 14 birds out of 500. Let’s keep this momentum up throughout the tournament season!

Next Monday, June 8 @ 4:00 is the annual highway pickup for UNS. They are located on Hwy 4 just beyond Lake Island Inn. The more hands available, the faster it will go. Wear shoes that you can walk through tall vegetation. Bright colors are a plus when walking along a highway! Up to you if you want to wear gloves. Volunteering at this earns you a chance to win next year’s shotgun, but more importantly, it is the right thing to do!

We had beautiful weather for Fun Day this year! A huge shout out to The Bear’s Den and Jason Bergquist for the smoked hog! It was DELICIOUS!
