This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. At Northern Lights Cutting Center, we are deeply grateful for those who served and the families who continue to carry their legacy. Today we ride with gratitude, pride, and remembrance. What an incredible weekend at The Ranch Performance Workshop! We had such a great group of riders Friday and Saturday that showed up ready to learn, challenge themselves, and have a ton of fun along the way. From rail work and course work to flag and cattle work, it was awesome to watch everyone grow in confidence, improve their horsemanship, and support one another throughout the weekend. We are so thankful for everyone who spent their time with us and helped make the atmosphere so positive and fun. We’re already excited to do another one — stay tuned for upcoming workshop dates and future events at Northern Lights Cutting Center!

THE RANCH PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP

~May 22nd & 23rd~

A 2-Day Ranch & Cowhorse Workshop with John Moder & JoLynn McDonald

This workshop is designed to connect intentional riding, mental focus, and practical cow work in a hands-on learning environment built for horsemen and horsewomen wanting to improve both themselves and their horses.

FRIDAY, MAY 22 | 5:00–8:00 PM
• Warm up & rail work
• Working the flag
• Course work

John will focus on intentionality, mindset, and breath work to help riders stay present and effective under pressure.

JoLynn will focus on horsemanship, feel, timing, and precision to help create a more confident and connected horse and rider team.

SATURDAY, MAY 23 | 1:00–5:00 PM
We’ll build on Friday’s foundation and transition from flag work to live cattle work while continuing to refine movement, communication, and control.

Whether you’re looking to gain confidence, sharpen your cow work, or improve the connection between horse and rider, this weekend is built to challenge and grow both.
