The ice is nearly ready. It's still a bit thin on the pleasure rink with rocks barley below the surface in several areas, so I want to build it up a bit more. Likely opening Friday 12/26 this year -- depending on what the sun and warm weather do these next couple of days.

Hi all,

My name is Matt Solberg and I am part of our leadership group for our local baseball / softball umpires association (Tri-State Officials Association), and we are in need of baseball / softball umpires for this upcoming spring.

Umpiring is a great part time job, and allows you to give back and stay involved in athletics once your playing career is over. The schedule works perfectly with employment at a school, as most varsity games start at 4:30 pm with the JV game to follow. The pay is also great and for a baseball Varsity / JV combination the pay is $150.00 plus mileage. Softball pay is $135.00 plus mileage for a Varsity / JV combination.

I will help you get registered through the Minnesota State High School League and help to get you games this spring. Registration takes place in early to mid March and pending weather games begin in April.
