Cheers to Chester 2026 is Thursday, September 10th, from 6-8:30, at Bent Paddle!
It is an annual party, sponsored by Ski Hut and hosted by Bent Paddle Brewing Co. , for Chester Bowl and the Growing Up Chester campaign to renovate and expand the Thom Storm Chalet. This is an especially exciting (and important) year, as Chalet construction is in progress!

This family friendly event features live music (see below), great hangout time with the Chester Bowl community, beverages for purchase from Bent Paddle, and food for purchase from Burger Joint.

We are raising money through raffle ticket sales. Each $10 raffle ticket gives you a chance at winning one of eight different prizes! In addition, buying multiple raffle tickets at the event could give you BOGO cards and other perks at Bent Paddle. According to state law, tickets can be purchased by cash or check only. Bent Paddle does have a cash machine on site. The grand prize is a Segway Muxi e-bike, donated by Ski Hut!

We are delighted to have Breanne Marie & The Front Porch Sinners playing at the event.The music at the Bent Paddle stage starts at 6pm with Two T’s in a Pod (Breanne and her daughter Anya) as the opening act, followed by the full band set from 6:30 to 8:00.You may have seen Breanne Marie & the Front Porch Sinners on the Chester Bowl stage, as they are a Chester favorite that have played frequently at Music in the Park.

Fall Fest Live Music Announcement: Death Valley Yacht Club
Saturday, September 19, 12:00-1:30
Death Valley Yacht Club is a Duluth-based Americana duo composed of Alex Oberton and Charlie Jacobs. Known for their carefully arranged guitar interplay, vocal harmonies and boundless energy, they have been steadily growing their audience since they began gigging in 2025. Their blended voices take on a vintage quality, taking inspiration from Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, with nods to the Beatles as well as Simon and Garfunkel. Their dynamic instrumentals are reminiscent of The Milk Carton Kids and Jesse Welles, with just a splash of Tony Rice. Death Valley Yacht Club’s album, called Dead Flowers, was published to various streaming services in April 2025.

This is the fifth year that Ski Hut has thrown a party for Chester Bowl to raise money for the Chalet renovation and expansion. You can buy $10 raffle tickets for your chance to win a Segway Muxi e-bike, donated by Ski Hut! (tickets are available now at Ski Hut if you can't make the event). Cheers to Chester 2026! This annual event is on Thursday, September 10th, 6-8:30 pm, at Bent Paddle. This is the fifth year where Ski Hut has thrown us a party to raise money for the Chalet renovation- and donated an e-bike that YOU could win by buying raffle tickets! The event's centerpiece is music from Two T's in a Pod and Breanne Marie & The Front Porch Sinners , with food and drink available for purchase from Bent Paddle Brewing Co. and Burger Joint . Can't make the event? Raffle tickets are on sale NOW at Ski Hut! This picture is a throwback to the first event in 2022. Ski Hut donated $30,000 to the campaign as a business, and the event has raised an additional $5,000 each year. Will you come out, help us raise money for the Chalet, and maybe even win an e-bike?
