Valkyries Lacrosse

Our 12u team finished up the GNLL State Tournament without a single loss on the board! They went 4-0, and with an opponent forfeit in their last matchup, it meant they missed the chance to play for the Championship. But they proved on the field exactly what they are capable of and left the tournament with smiles and a bright future ahead! What a great way to finish the spring season! 💚💙 Way to go Valkyries!!!!

Our 10u team wrapped up their Spring Tournament run today, battling through a highly competitive bracket!! Even when facing some uphill matchups, these girls showed what Valkyrie lacrosse is all about… teamwork, hard work, and an amazing attitude 💚💙 We are so proud of these girls!!

A big shoutout to our 14u team for an awesome 2-1-1 run at the GNLL State Tournament this weekend! Seeing them finish on such a high note is what youth sports is all about. Congratulations, girls! Congratulations to our 12u Valkyries on an amazing Day 1 of the GNLL Spring State Tournament! They earned two big wins on the turf today!! And of course, when you’re in White Bear Lake, a celebratory stop at Cup & Cone is an absolute must! 😋☀️ Way to go Valkyries, keep working hard out there!!

Our youngest crew left it all on the field today at the GNLL State Tournament!! So proud of our 8u Valkyries for finishing their season strong.

Congratulations to Brijette! She has been a driving force in getting girls lacrosse in the Northland for the last decade. From speaking at School Board meetings, to helping with camps, she’s made a lasting impact on our lacrosse community!

Our 8u players had a blast last night at their mixed-team scrimmages with the Wolfpack 8u! It was the very first game setting for many of these players, and seeing the Valkyries and Wolfpack girls cheering each other on was a highlight! From first goals to... a surprise visit from a Purple People Eater?! It was a perfect night for lacrosse. Stay tuned as that might not be the last visit from our new “mascot” 👾 Huge thanks to the Duluth Wolfpack for hosting the first of three spring scrimmage nights!
