Tomorrow night DRC is hosting an info meeting for new and returning rowers and their parents. If you are 13-18 (or have a kid who is) and are in the twin ports area, we hope you will stop by!
The Duluth Rowing Club is very grateful to the many individuals, businesses and foundations who generously donated financial gifts and in-kind equipment in 2025.
Contributions totaled over $50,000. These gifts supported youth and adult rowing programs, scholarships, the Learn to Row Program, equipment, and new boats.
The year-end fundraising campaign for two new double rowing shells exceeded the goal of $18,000. A total of $22,045 was raised to purchase one double designed for novice rowers and one for competitive rowers. The cost of both boats is estimated at $36,000 with the Club covering the remaining cost. The two doubles will be ordered soon and hopefully arrive in time for next season.
A full copy of the 2025 Duluth Rowing Club Fundraising Report can be found on the DRC website (linked below). Again, we say Thank You to all who support the DRC. These contributions ensure that the Club continues to thrive into the future.

The holiday season is here, and the Duluth Rowing Club has two double rowing shells on its wish list.
• One double is for new and intermediate rower that would be used by youth and adult rowers who are transitioning to rowing smaller boats, those involved in the Adaptive Rowing Program, and those who prefer to be in a more stable boat.
• The other is a competitive racing double that would be faster than older the doubles the Club currently has for those who compete.
The DRC is currently seeking donations to help us cover the cost of these two doubles; total cost is roughly $36,000. Our fundraising goal is $18,000 with the Club matching half the cost. The DRC relies on the generosity of its members and supporters to replace and upgrade the Club’s rowing shells.
Please consider a gift of any amount to the DRC this season. Contributions can be made online at the DRC website:
https://duluthrowing.org/donate/
or by sending a check to:
Duluth Rowing Club, PO Box 3654, Duluth MN 55803. All donations are tax-deductible.
We sincerely thank those who have already contributed to the purchase of the two doubles and hope that others will join in to meet the $18,000 fundraising goal.
