Team Duluth Ski & Snowboard Club

As we head into the Team Duluth end of year banquet, let's enjoy these classic photos from early in our ski club history.

First, Jim "Jammer" McKenna and Andrea Neustel were presented the J. Fenimore Cooper City Championship Trophy at Mont du Lac. Second, siblings, Mark and Andrea Neustel were presented the J. Fenimore Cooper City Championship Trophy by John Keller at a Duluth Alpine Club banquet.

Team Duluth, formerly known as the Duluth Alpine Club, is proud to introduce alpine skiing as a life-long sport to area athletes.

Today, Team Duluth ended its on-snow season with the J. Fenimore Cooper “Ski Your Hat Off” Championship fun race. Athletes, coaches, and parents raced side by side in a round robin bracket.

Congratulations to Coach Jon's team for earning top honors! And thanks to everyone who made the day so fun!

Let's give a shout out to Sydni Madison, a member of Team Wisconsin, Tobias Schunk & Teagan Tessier, members of Team Minnesota, who participated in the U.S. Nationals, Western Region, High School Championships in Loveland, Colo., this week. The event brings together top high school racers in the Western Half of the United States to compete for their State in a Championship format event, participating in GS and SL. Nine states had teams participate in the U.S. Nationals. This year's top teams are:

1st - Colorado
2nd - Minnesota
3rd - Wisconsin

Congratulations to the Team Duluth athletes who raced the USSA Central Region 1 Spring Fling at Mont du Lac Resort last weekend. It was the last scored race of the 2026 season.

The 2026 Northland Junior Race Series ended its 2026 race season at Lutsen Mountains on March 8th. Congratulations to Team Duluth for earning the 2026 Team Champions Award.
