Welp - a lot has happened over the last decade, and we are about to usher in a new era here at Dg&g.

Over the past 10 years, we have put ourselves out there and refused to take no for an answer. While this approach was rocky in the beginning, we are now beginning to see the fruits of our labor. This advancement and success would not be possible without all the wonderful customers and friends who have supported us.

A dear friend once shared some words with me that I live by and that have guided our business:

"Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."

We are getting close to paddle season.

This customer opted for a feather inlay and a host of great wood. We rarely turn down ideas from customers, if you have a crazy thought, we would love to make it come to life.

Woods included are black walnut, red and white oak, black ash, mahogany, douglas fir, and cedar.

The queue is already getting long. If you are thinking you would like something for the summer season, give a call right away.

Mental well-being is no joke for people who have the struggle. After one of my best friends of 20+ years passed away of cancer, my brain moved quickly into an nasty old spot i though I had cleaned out.

Its been 17 years since i have had to deal with demons that. It took 2 long months of nomading alone and then hooking up with a select person or two to keep me fighting to get back on track.

I am getting better again, but the demons never truly leave, they just change form. Be diligent and take good care of yourself.

Life is short, messy and unfair, but also the sweetest koolaide you will ever drink - don't be dogsh*t human and find whatever makes you smile and do that every day and f**k the rest.

Summer is swinging fully now! Long days on the river working smallmouth out of kodiak. The bruin upgrade is not far away.
