Wellness Tip: Good Nutrition-Eat the Rainbow
Everyone knows that eating fruits and vegetables is an important part of a balanced diet, but did you know that each color provides different nutrients? So eat your greens, but also eat your oranges, blues and reds!
According to a Harvard blog, there are phytonutrients in every color, fruits and vegetables sorted by color, along with the phytonutrients they contain, and which foods you’ll find them in.”
Red: Protects against prostate cancer and heart and lung disease
Orange and Yellow: Supports intracellular communication
Green: Contains chemicals that block cancer
Blue and Purple: Contain antioxidants that prevent cellular aging prevent blood clots
White and Brown: Contains anti-tumor properties and antioxidants.

this was a quick put together. Shredded rotisserie chicken, greens and chopped veggies, quinoa, seeds, dried fruit, and crispy chickpeas. This might have been my quickest meal prep. Healthy, quick, and satisfying.

Consistency and work ethic. Natalie has worked incredibly hard and has achieved so much during our time working together. Despite facing challenges along the way Natalie has stayed committed to regular training, a healthier diet and a nothing-will-stop-me attitude. Benefits of lifting weights:

-Enhance your quality of life. Strength training may enhance your quality of life by improving your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also help protect your joints from injury.
Types of Strength Training:
-Body weight.
-Resistance Bands.
-Free weights.
-Weight machines.
-Cable suspension training.
You don't need to spend hours a day lifting weights to benefit from strength training. You can see significant improvement in your strength with just two or three 20- or 30-minute strength training sessions a week.
