Last tournament to cap off a great year with this group. Runners up in silver bracket. These young women were fantastic teammates, grew as players, and helped me have a lot of fun. Couldn’t have happened without a lot of help and support - in particular thank you Coach Shelby Johnson for all your work with our team!

On a roll! Another gold bracket championship game- this time runners
up in the USFA Summer Sizzler.

The graciousness of the college softball players at the WCWS was remarkable. We were lucky to stay in the same hotel as Duke and our girls loved every chance interaction. Duke’s pitcher, #14 Jala Wright made several of them feel special- here she is with Solmia, Sofia, Kyra and Sophia.

On Route 66 in Weatherford Oklahoma is a great restaurant with an unassuming exterior that appears to have been named after Flames catcher, #99 Lucille “Lucy” Holder.

Before playing softball in OKC these fun loving athletes tried their hands at pickleball.

Congrats Flames outfielder, #15, Solmia Humphries on her go-ahead 3 RBI bomb at the Road to the Show in Oklahoma City. Seeing the great college play in the WCWS might have given her some inspiration!

Congrats to Flames OF/Corner Mia Humphries who helped her HS team, the Seckinger Jaguars, convincingly earn their berth in the AAAA GHSA tournament in Columbus!

Flames outfielder Allie Sleep is having a great season with the Dunwoody Highschool Wildcats JV squad. With a 545 batting average she is killing it at the plate!
