It's Holiday Movie & Pajama Party Time!!

Grab your blanket or sleeping bag and get ready for some fun!
It's the DNDC holiday movie morning and pajama party!
This Saturday, December 13, 9am - 12 noon at the DNDC Clubhouse.
Bring a blanket, sleeping bag, bean bag, inflatable chair or anything comfy for the floor. Donuts and hot chocolate will be provided. The movie is a surprise!

Join the Divas of Dunwoody North for some crazy holiday cheer, hosted by Book Club and Babysitting Co-op. Dig out anything funny, old, or a prior year's fan favorite and wrap it up! Will the reindeer return? Will Melissa finally give up the red shirt? What will be the next present to be sought after in every round?

The party is BYOB and bring a heavy hors d' oeuvre to share. Ladies only!

It's time to kick off the holidays with the DNDC Holiday Parade & S'mores Fest and the Jingle Jog 5k & 1k. Please see the details below.

Holiday Parade & S'mores Fest
Friday, December 5 parade lineup at 6:00pm and parade starts at 6:30pm

Light up and decorate your vehicle, golf cart, bike, scooter, baby stroller or whatever else will move and join the holiday parade. A holiday fun prize basket will be awarded to the most festive entry. Spectators can view the parade on the Brookhurst, E Kings Point Dr, Kingsgate Dr loop. The parade lineup will start at 6:15pm and parade will start at 6:30pm and drive slowly along the route. The parade will conclude at the DNDC parking lot with hot chocolate and s'mores. Invite your Dunwoody North neighbors and friends.

Jingle Jog - 5k, 1, and Mini Dash
Saturday, December 6 Registration at 9:00am and Race kicks off at 9:30am

Dash off the hot chocolate and s'mores from the prior night!
Children aged 5 – 10 can participate in the 1k fun run. We will also host a mini sprint contest for our super young runners of ages 5 and under. The coveted blankets will be awarded for the 1k youth winners (5-7, 8-10) and 5k winners (M/F under 13, 13-16, 16-39, 40-59, 60+). Honor system timing: Participants will time their run and report their time at the conclusion of the race. Don't forget your watch/timer. Cheaters will be put on the naughty list! This event will support Malachi's Storehouse Food Panty. Suggested donation: $10 adult / $5 child (under age 16).

Kid Breakfast & Movie Party
Kids can wear their pajamas (or costumes) and bring something comfy to sit on the floor and watch Coco. Chef Robyn will be making pancakes that can be topped with leftover Halloween candy. We will have Ghoul Aid and spooky fruit. Kids can have their faces decorated to celebrate DDLM. Please bring any extra candy that you would like to donate to the Chesnut Fall Festival. It's a great way to get it out of your house!

Adult 'I feel like the dead" Recovery Party
We will be serving up some breakfast sandwiches and hair of the dog (special hangover concoctions). We will also have liquid IV and Ginger Ale. Drag yourself in to keep the party going a little longer. Have a little fun and get your face decorated too! Bring any unwanted candy to donate to the Chesnut Fall Festival.

Please mark your calendars and plan to attend the DNDC General Membership Meeting on Sunday, October 26th at 7:00 pm. In addition to hearing updates about everything going on at the club, we will be voting in new Board Members.

Being a board member is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the neighborhood, meet new neighbors and help shape the future of the club. And let's not forget the awesome perks....one free clubhouse rental a year and $100 off your annual membership!

Positions up for election this October are:

Vice President (Fill in for President as needed and 2nd year be the President).

Facilities - Managing the upkeep and repairs to the buildings on the property. Arranges necessary work to be done.

Treasurer - Work with the club accountant and board to prepare the budget. Keep track of club money coming in and going out.

Swim Team - Responsible for managing the swim team including hiring coaches, holding registration, etc. Can form a committee to help.

Social - Plans and implements activities for adults and children in the DNDC. Can form a committee to help.

Tennis - Maintains courts and equipment for tennis and pickleball. Works with team captains on court reservations, practices and monies due by non-members.

Membership - Works with prospective members, keeps track of membership, works with treasurer to make sure all dues, fees, etc. are paid and accurate.
