Chi Yakoki Chitto to everyone that participated in our stickball tournament. Mighty Ducks take the championship with Intertribal as 2nd place. Caleb Martin was chosen MVP!

It's was so cold but you all showed up & showed out! We had a set back with the lights but all you die hard stickball players understood and continued the last few games with headlights!

To those that helped call, keep score or keep up with the bracket, yall the real MVP's! I owe each of yall a steak!

Yall don't forget, tomorrow is our stickball tournament! ANY arts & crafts, or info on organizations vendors are welcome to set up free! Just come out & find you a spot! We will be out there 8am-8pm @ Billy Miller Park in Durant. All types of food, good people & STICKBALL!!!!!

My daughter MeKiah has been selected to play on the 2023 Team USA 19U Lacrosse Italy & UK/Scotland tours next summer. This opportunity is given to the elite high school, scholastic lacrosse athletes around the country.
A LITTLE HISTORY:
MeKiah is a senior at Durant High School in Durant, Oklahoma. She is Choctaw Nation, Cherokee Nation and Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indian. She is also the new 2022-23 Jr. Miss Indian Oklahoma. She has represented her tribes well as past ambassador for several organizations, clubs, festival and pow wows. She hopes for the opportunity to represent those tribes internationally on the Lacrosse field.
As a child, MeKiah was born and raised on the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians reservation. She was a member of the Little Warriors and Little Beaver Dam stickball teams. She attributes her talent in Lacrosse to the knowledge and love of the grandfather of all sports, Choctaw Stickball. Once she moved to Oklahoma, she continued playing with Osi Heli and the Choctaw Nation Youth Stickball League. She was introduced to Lacrosse by Coach Mike Delloro and the rest is history!
WHAT WE ARE RAISING FUNDS FOR:
These costs are required for each tour. Italy (Early July) & UK/Scotland Tour (early August). The total amount of funding goal covers both tours.

* Cost and fee's associated with travel to group destination site. Possible Chicago or New
York.
* Cost of passports, international travel insurance & other travel expenses not covered by
organization.
* New equipment. (MeKiah's is all so worn out)
* Team member's portion of cost for uniform package and Team Fee's.
* Any and all cost associated with her participation in this once in a life time opportunity!
