The 2026 Longleaf Pine Combine Young Bird season will start with first 175 mile race on Sunday October 4th.
We expect that five clubs will participate in the 2026 YBs season with a total of up to 20 flyers.
It will be a competitive season as everyone is training their birds and keeping them healthy.

We will hold an Old Birds Race Series Awards Banquet and Combine Meeting on June 13th at 1 PM at Golden Corral in Sanford.
Please come with your families and friends

The agenda will be:
2026 Old Birds Awards Banquet; celebrate and receive Combine diplomas and Trophies
2026 Longleaf Pine Combine Young Bird Season Planning: Clubs MUST voice their intent to race with the Combine in YBs such that we can plan trailer crates allocation.
2026 North Carolina Young Bird Cup race questions & answers.
Collect entry fee for the 2026 North Carolina CUP
Bring your electronics if you need Marty to date your electronics software.
2026 LPC Young Bird Season Planning (right after the Awards Banquet): We plan to invite flyers from Central Virginia Pigeon Club, Highpoint Pigeon Club and Tarheel Pigeon Club who flew separately in Old Birds in order to have a chance to discuss 2026 Young Birds together and see a good plan for ALL clubs would be.
