🌄 Ready to give your teen (ages 14–17) an unforgettable outdoor experience? The Deer Backpacking Trip with is the perfect next-step adventure: 7–12 miles through the beautiful Grayson Highlands, where they’ll grow confidence, learn real backpacking skills, and make new friends under the stars 🥾✨

Our community has been very generous with donations this year, so we have LOTS of secondhand gear to offer: outdoor clothing, footwear, backpacks, climbing gear, tents, sleeping bags, and much more! ⛺️🥾 As a reminder, all of our gear is sold at pay-what-you-can pricing to ensure everyone has access to the outdoors. 👯‍♀️

Stop by on 4/19 anytime between 12-4pm on Weaver St in Downtown Carrboro to browse gear, chat with our lovely team, and/or hear about our mission of outdoor equity everywhere. 🌳

Looking for a way to give back to the outdoor spaces in your community? Join for the Hickory Hill Shoreline Cleanup as they celebrate Durham Creek Week! 💧This event will be a walking cleanup of the shorelines and trails around Hickory Hill in Durham. 🌳

Make sure to pack closed toed shoes, long pants, long sleeve shirts, and work gloves (if you have them). Grabbers and trash bags are provided. 🗑️

Also, if you have any outdoor gear you’ve been itching to get off your hands, our friends at will be collecting outdoor gear to donate back to our secondhand pop up sales. Win win! 🥳

We’re excited to start 2026 off strong with a Mini Climbing Pop-Up! 🧗‍♀️Come join us on Thursday, January 15th at in Durham to browse secondhand climbing gear at pay-what-you-can pricing. Newbies and experienced climbers alike are welcome to find a new-to-you gem, and then put it to the test 💪

For even more fun, every 2nd Thursday (including 1/15!) is Pride Night at 🏳️‍🌈 Discounted $15 entry for non-members, free for members. Check out the food truck and local musician in the outdoor garden and share in the joy of community!
