Ok - we're all set for volunteers now! Thanks to Jim Moore and some others for wrapping us up at the finish line and tailwalking
Reminder: NO Durham NC parkrun this Saturday. Try out another parkrun or go be dazzled and amazed by local runners taking on the marathon, half-marathon, 10k, or 5k. It’s gonna be a blast!

Durham NC parkrun is CANCELED this Saturday, May 2. With the Garmin marathon happening, the various road closures will make it nearly impossible for volunteers and runners to get into and away from the park. Here are some ideas for other ways to spend you Saturday morning:
1. Try some parkrun tourism in Chapel Hill, Archdale, or Charlotte, or go even further afield!
2. Volunteer for Garmin race, or try running one of the distances yourself.
3. Go out and cheer for those participating in the race. They’d love to have your support.
You could also sleep in, but nah. That would be silly. Have fun and see you at the usual time and place on May 9!
