Set : Say no if you need to. Share your feelings and limitations in a kind and honest way.
Ground in : This can be as simple as feeling the grass under your feet or listening to the natural sounds around youβ¦or hugging a tree.
Practice : Step away from the crowd for a couple of minutes to practice meditation, breathing, or both, to help you stay present in the moment, and reduce stress.
Lean on : Reach out to your network for support and be there for others.

Integrate : Do whatβs right outside of your front door. Take yourself, or grab your favorite family member and go for a walk, run, bike ride, or even front yard yoga.

There are a number of barriers to getting AND staying active (especially with families to put first). Time, motivation, energy levels, social support, location, not having a buddi...The thing is, this is impacting more than just our physical bodies, it's impacting our mental and social health, too.
