It's amazing the wonders we can CREATE and the goals we can ACHIEVE when we give ourselves the FREEDOM and space to live our TRUTH.

There is exactly one year between the last photo and the first one (9/14/19). This time last year I was struggling with self-love and acceptance as I unknowingly approached the lowest, darkest time of my life while finishing my Ph.D. I felt so lonely and broken as I finished my dissertation and could not even fathom where I would be or what I would be accomplishing a year later. But faith, perseverance, and trust in myself brought out a strength in me I did not know I possessed, a strength that has carried me to achieve more in the past year than I thought possible. It has been a constant practice and pursuit of my passions that has led me to find true happiness in living my truth. We may not notice our own personal growth from day to day, but once we can reflect on the past (or a photo), we can begin to recognize the immense changes and wonders within ourselves. So trust your gut and don't always listen to those around you that want you to play it safe: achieve your own freedom and truth by practicing, pursuing, and creating what lights a fire inside you.
