Duke University Men's Rowing

Founded in 1978, Duke Men's Rowing is a highly competitive club sport that races in major regattas a Duke Men's Rowing rows out of the Bertha K.

Bergman Memorial Boathouse, and shares the facility with the women's team. The three bay boathouse was built in 1979 and plans for construction of a new facility within the next few years are underway. The boathouse is on Lake Michie in Bahama, NC, about a 20 minute drive from campus. The lake serves as a reservoir for the city of Durham, and when the water is at it's highest, there is over 6000 m

Spring cleaning calls for reflection. As a team we are bringing forward the strength, commitment and community we built during winter training into the 2K racing season. Erg splits dropped, friendships formed and new members joined. We can’t wait for what’s to come. Shoutout to our alumni for coming to Duke in January! 💙🚣‍♀️

We asked our current members what DCR means to them. For DCR giving day is not just about donations — it’s reconnecting with who we are as a club and what we bring to the Duke community.
