"Due to unforeseen circumstances, this year we were unable to secure Cameron Indoor for the basketball championship night. While we dearly missed the thrill of competing on the iconic Coach K Court, we believe it's important to celebrate the stories and successes that have graced its floors in years past. One such remarkable tale comes from the spring 2023 intramural basketball season, where a team of Intramural Free Agents known as Toothpaste., captured the hearts of spectators and competitors alike as they battled their way to a championship game in Cameron Indoor Stadium."

Our Outdoor Adventures team took advantage of a warm spring weekend as they guided trips exploring the Haw River and Duke Campus Farm 🛶🌱☀️
📸 1 - 3: Recent rains gave plenty of flow on a local paddling trip down the Haw River from Saxpahaw to Union Bridge. Participants learned the basics of paddling, how to navigate small rapids, nature nuggets about the local flora and fauna as well as the history of the river to the milling industry.
📸 4 - 7: An afternoon at Duke Campus Farm was spent learning what the wonderful Farm staff do to prepare for the season. Participants learned how to care for and water seedlings before they go in the ground, helped give the buildings an aesthetic uplift with some painting, made pizzas from scratch while watching Duke Basketball, and enjoyed the sunset while sitting around a fire making s'mores.
