Dr. Jerome Barber is probably one the greatest, most accomplished Martial Artist I know personally. Here a few of his accolades:
10th degree Black Belt, Independent Escrima-Kenpo-Arnis, GM, Vincente Sanchez, 2010;
10th degree Black Belt, International Schools of Kenpo Self Defense, GM Al Tracy, 2015;
Inductee & Charter Member, Kenpo International Hall of Fame, GM Al Tracy, 2007;
Inductee & Charter Member, United Fellowship of Martial Arts Hall of Fame, Teacher of FMA, GM Lou Lledo, 2010;
Inducted, The International Modern Arnis Foundation Hall of Fame, GM Michael T. Bates, Trustee, 2011;
Adjunct Professor, Recreation & Physical Education, Erie Community College Buffalo, NY, 1987 - 2014: taught Tracy System Kenpo and IMAF-Modern Arnis.
And that isn't even all of them! This man is a legend! He has blessed Shaw's School of Karate with an adult Escrima-Kenpo-Arnis class Monday nights from 7:30-9pm. I'm telling you as a Martial Artist if you have a chance to work with or be taught by a multiple 10th degree Black Belt and Hall of Famer; you don't pass up that opportunity!

Today was one of my most charismatic students last classes. She is moving too far away to continue to attend my classes. She has a great work ethic! An abrasive but also kind personality! Kali often comes in early to help out with the younger kids and lower rank classes, which is always much appreciated! She attended so many classes and made connections with so many of my students that she will be missed by literally the whole student body! I'm proud of her accomplishments in the dojo and outside of it aswell! She has found another dojo to train at closer to her new home. I expect Kali to be just as impactful in her new dojo as she was in mine and continue to keep letting her wonderful light shine on others to help lift them up to be better at whatever they do. We wish you good luck on your next chapter of your life and never forget us! We definitely won't forget you!
