Please join us in welcoming Amanda Oakley Atchison back to Nina's School of Dance. Amanda joins us from a break from North Carolina Governor's School East. She will provide a class full of Technique skills and a Dance Combo! You don't want to miss this GREAT POP UP CLASS! Please complete this Google Form questionnaire in comments to get signed up!

Well, another recital has come to an end for our big girls at NSOD. We are so proud of seniors and all their accomplishments. We wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavors. WE WILL MISS THEM! 💙🦋

Last night was the last time these six beautiful young women, dancers, friends, SENIORS rehearsed in the studio. Today is the first of their last two recitals. 🥹 We are in for an emotional roller-coaster of a weekend!

Our final Senior Spotlight is for Miss Poppy Davis. Poppy has been dancing at NSOD for 15 years and has been on Company for the past 10. She is a senior at Voyager Academy High School. After high school she plans to finish her Associates in Biology at Durham Tech then transfer to a four year university.

Her favorite dance memory is going to eat dinner with everyone after recitals because we get to hang out with friends.

Nina always tells her, "Live in the moment and that she is nice."

Her advice to younger dancers is, "Always believe in yourself and do what truly makes you happy."
