Having fewer paid instructors is more profitable. Pack 30 kids in with one
instructor and the numbers look great on paper.
But the numbers don't tell you what gets lost.
When classes get too big, students stop getting coached. They get supervised.
Maybe. Nobody corrects their stance. Nobody notices when they're struggling.
Nobody remembers what they worked on last week.
We keep a 10-to-1 student-to-instructor ratio . That's not a suggestion. It's a
standard we track every single day.
When an instructor calls in sick or a Head Instructor takes a vacation, we don't let
the ratio slip. We call in backup. Sometimes that's another Master Instructor from
a different location. Sometimes it's Grand Master Chang himself.
Most schools would just pack a few extra students in and hope nobody notices.
It's easier. It's more profitable.
We notice. And we refuse.
