We will be having our regular schedule of Aikido classes this weekend - Saturday, September 5 at 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM and Monday, September 7 at 6:00 PM.

We will not have a Martial Movement class this Sunday, September 6.

The story of a dojo: Gaining a new student (welcome, Adrienne!), bidding farewell to another (good luck in Portland, Ben!), and reuniting with a student from long ago for one class only (thanks for visiting, Erik!). Managing a dojo is always challenging as members come and members go. All we can do is our best to create a welcoming space and sense of community, where everyone knows they always matter. One measure of our success is the number of former students who have stayed connected, who call and email, and who drop by unannounced when they’re in the area, knowing they’ll be welcomed, honored, and thrown around just like old times. Feels like we're doing something right.

Congratulations to Cassie and Ben on their promotions to 5th kyu! They both had EXCELLENT demonstrations and we're proud of their efforts!

40+30 thank yous to all the great friends who helped us celebrate 40 years of Triangle Aikido and 30 years of Seibukan Aikido! What a spectacular weekend we had! We're so grateful for our amazing Aikido community who showed up for us!
