Another nor’easter, another challenge for NC-12! 🌊 This time, it wasn’t a bunch of cyclists wondering if they'd get to finish out this year's Mountains to Coast ride has originally planned... it was the Cape Hatteras Secondary School volleyball team trying to get to their playoff game! 🏐

With help from the community, the team made it off the island, got to Weldon STEM for their playoff game, and came away with a 3-0 win! 👏

It is hard to believe that only two weeks ago, we were already approaching the halfway point of this year’s Mountains to Coast Ride!

Congrats to Raleigh Brewing Company on bringing home two bronze medals at the U.S. Open B**r Championship! Our Mountains to Coast Ride riders got to sample some of their other brews during our Happy Hour in Manteo last week, but these award-winning beers weren’t on the menu. Make sure to stop by one of their brewery locations when you're in the Raleigh or Smithfield area to give them a try! 🍺

Sorry we’ve been a little MIA the past couple of days! We promise we didn’t forget how to use social media… we just got a little distracted wrapping up this year’s Mountains to Coast Ride.

We want to give a HUGE congratulations to all of our riders who conquered the miles and made the journey with us across North Carolina from Mount Airy to Hatteras Island! You all did it! 👏

Yesterday was another great day on this year's Mountains to Coast Ride!

Our riders made their way from Henderson to Weldon, taking in more beautiful North Carolina scenery along the way before arriving at one of the most scenic campsites of the ride yet! Situated along the Roanoke River, our campsite gave riders the perfect place to relax and recharge after another big day on the bike. Plus Timber Waters Brewing Co. joined us for another Happy Hour and Weldon Mills Distillery opened up offering tastings and more.

Another day, another great overnight stop!

Littleton and Timber Waters Brewing Co. showed OUT today at Rest Stop #2! It is safe to say this stop brought the good vibes, great hospitaality and plenty of reasons to hang around a little longer.

Littleton and Timber Waters Brewing Co. might just have put themselves at the top of the leaderboard for favorite Rest Stop! Thanks for giving our riders such a great stop as they made their way to Weldon today.

Our riders got a taste of viking life on their way to Henderson yesterday at The Viking Experience! They hand the chance to explore a Drekheim Village and encounter characters roaming around that helped to bring the experience to life.

Once they made it to camp, Henderson kept the fun going with a great band, delicious food trucks and plenty of good vibes for everyone to enjoy. And, of course, we capped off the afternoon with Happy Hour featuring our friends at Timber Waters Brewing Co.! 🍻

Another great overnight stop is in the books!

Yesterday, our riders made their way from Eden to Hillsborough, rolling through beautiful North Carolina scenery with stops along the way in Ruffin, Simmons Farm Museum and White Oak Grove Baptist Church.

After a full day on the road, riders arrived at our campsite in the heart of downtown Hillsborough, with restaurants, shops and more just steps away. We also got to enjoy a taste of the local community during our Cycle NC Happy Hour featuring Hillsborough’s own Eno River Brewing ! 🍻

Your support, smiles, snacks and encouragement helped keep our riders fueled and motivated to get through the rolling hills.
