✨ ISO: Our Next Lesson Horses! ✨
We’re on the hunt for some very special horses to join our riding school program!
We’re looking for multiple horses who are safe, reliable, love everyone they meet and enjoy working to become partners for our students as they learn, grow, and build confidence in the saddle.
🔭What we’re looking for:
• Horse 1 & 2:
8-18 yo, 14.2 - 15.1hh & 15.2 - 16.2hh beginner horse. Drafty cross type would be great. Husband/grandma/toddler safe type of horse. A saint on the ground, stands quietly for mounting, a nice trot/jog and soft easy canter. Push button, point and shoot type, solid on the trails. Physical ability to jump logs/cross rails required. Willing to discuss maintenance needs.
• Horse 3:
6-18yo, 15.1 - 16.2hh step up horse. Dressage background, jumping and show experience preferred but not required. Solid on the trails, same horse at home or in new places. A horse looking to step down from higher levels might be a good fit!
• Horse 4:
8-12yo, 15.2hh+ experienced hunter/jumper who knows his job, is ready to take to shows and teach his amateur rider the ropes of competition. Willing to discuss maintenance needs.
• Horse 5:
8-16yo, 15.2+ experienced eventer who knows his job, is ready to take to shows to teach his amateur rider the ropes of competition. Willing to discuss maintenance needs.
💰Lower 5s per horse, some flexibility for competition ready horses with minimal maintenance.
🐴 Trials preferred to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone involved, especially for the horse.
This isn’t just a search for “any horse that can do the job.” We’re looking for kind, sane, willing horses who genuinely love having a job, and love being doted on. A horse with a few quirks are welcome (we love a little character!) but overall safety and their happiness comes first.
🏡 What we can offer:
These horses wouldn’t simply be lesson horses, they would become part of the Re*****on Farm family, expected to retire into on-property leases or pasture companions at the school. Horses work up to 5 days a week for 1 hour per day, receive a minimum of two days off, daily turnout with access to hay in slow feeders in either individual, buddy, or group turnouts, regular chiro, body work, and massage. 5* care; our horses want for nothing.
Our goal is to find horses who can have a happy, meaningful second career while helping riders discover the confidence and and joy that comes from learning to ride.
📍 Located in Duvall, Washington.
Looking in the PNW, but open to other states for the perfect competition horse.
