WE GOT IT DONE!

PeakX 17U picked up a huge win today to punch our ticket to the Uncle Drew Championship Semifinals tomorrow morning at 9:20 AM.

Huge shoutout to Jace Ward, who put on an unbelievable performance with 34 points, including two clutch free throws with just 4 seconds remaining to give us the lead and seal the victory.

But this was a true team win. Every player stepped up, trusted one another, and battled for 32 minutes. That’s what PeakX Basketball is all about.

One more step tomorrow morning. Let’s keep the momentum rolling!

Dyersburg High School is excited to welcome Spencer Bursey as a new Boys Basketball Assistant Coach!

Coach Bursey brings more than a decade of coaching experience and a proven track record of developing student-athletes. A standout player at Ripley High School, Dyersburg State, and Lane College, he has led teams both on the court and from the sidelines, most recently serving as Head Coach at Crockett County.

His passion for mentoring young men, building strong relationships, and pursuing excellence makes him a tremendous addition to our Trojan basketball program.

Dyersburg City Schools is proud to welcome Kewan Hubbard back to his roots as the newest Dyersburg High School Boys Basketball Assistant Coach!

A proud Dyersburg native, DHS basketball alumnus, and respected local barber, Coach Hubbard has built his life around serving others and investing in our community. Now, he’s bringing that same passion, leadership, and commitment back to the Trojan family.

As a three-year starter, All-District, and All-Region player during his time at DHS, Coach Hubbard understands what it means to wear the black and gold. More importantly, he’s excited to help develop our student-athletes, not only as basketball players, but as leaders, teammates, and young men of character.
