Our students (ages 7-137) learn to fight like a Viking using authentic Viking weapons and equipment. Our focus is NOT on re-enactment or stage performance. Our focus is on understanding and practicing the fighting style used by the Vikings. We recreate this fighting style by studying archaeological evidence, analyzing the sagas and reverse engineering from later period treatises and weapon evoluti

🔥 Train Like a Viking – Pre-Karl Bootcamps Begin! 🔥
Every warrior needs a proving ground. Now, you have one.
Our Pre-Karl Bootcamps are launching every 3rd weekend of the month, starting this April. In just one weekend, you’ll train in real Viking combat with a sword and shield (additional weapons come later). By Sunday, you’ll be ready to take the Karl exam and claim your first rank.

After a *really* short session to learn some fighting techniques, participants had to take on Arthur, not only to test their quickly learned new skills, but also to see how well current Asfolk students could train a new fighter. The children's group (trained by Mick) were by far the fastest learners.
Pre-Karl class dates have been posted. We have adult/teen programs starting on Jan 9th and 11th. We have a children's program starting on Jan 11th. We also have a BOOT CAMP version running the weekend of Dec 7th & 8th (9 weeks crammed into a weekend). Go to asfolk.com to learn more and register.
