We were Minnesota's first PADI 5 Star Training Facility and have grown to become Minnesota's largest scuba diving school (and one of the largest in the Midwest). Scuba Center offers a complete range of PADI scuba diving training classes from Beginning (Open Water Diver) to the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). Our Eagan Scuba Center, located 5 minutes south of Mall of America, features a 12 ft deep in store pool heated to a tropical 88 degrees, two classrooms, a full line of scuba diving & snorkeling equipment, Nitrox fills, and our Public Safety Diving/Water Rescue Department. Our original Scuba Center in South Minneapolis, open since 1973, offers a complete selection of scuba diving equipment, snorkeling equipment, and lessons. This location is just two blocks south of Lake Harriet.

Big schools of anthias are pretty common in the Indo Pacific. They are generally plankton pickers so you'll usually see them above reef structure, up in the water column. Purple anthias are one of the kinds you'll see diving in the Solomons! Big congratulations to our 19 new PADI Open Water divers! It was a fantastic weekend at the lake in spite of a very rainy start to Saturday and bad viz all around. Everyone’s positive attitude and hard work made it super fun for everyone. (And we even had a sighting of a bald eagle eating a fish during one of our surface intervals.) Another Scuba Center trip to Isle Royale is in the history books. It was a great week spent doing some of the best wreck diving in the world. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this adventure.
