To my backbone. My endless encourager. The one who puts up with all my crazy ideas. For loving all the animals my dreams and goals pull in to our lives. The best husband and father I could ever imagine being gifted with.
Happy Father’s Day!
A huge happy Father’s Day to all those dads and husbands who have to put up with us horse girls. You are a gift to us!

There has been some new members joining recently. Wanted to give a quick little hello and introduce ourselves!
My name is Erin my daughter Noel and I have the great privilege of training and instructing at our facility here in Eagle River, WI. Our Farm is called Haven Pines.
We currently have a herd of 21 horses from minis all the way up to a 18.2hh Belgian team.
We offer English, Western, Liberty and Driving lessons. Our facility includes an indoor classroom connected to our tack room. An outdoor arena and round pen and a little over 2 miles of trails right here on our property to ride on.
We are currently building an outdoor obstacle course to incorporate a fun and challenging way to put our horsemanship skills to use.
We offer lessons to all ages of horse enthusiasts.
The mission of our program here at Haven Pines is to provide a safe and engaging environment for both horse and rider to learn and grow. We find horses provide an amazing opportunity for us to develop ourselves as horsemen and women while we get to help the horses to unleash their full potential rather it be in harness, at liberty or under a western or English saddle.
Please reach out if you’re interesting in coming to meet us! We would love to show you around!

Summer is off and running here on the farm! A student favorite is using the trail as a cool down approach. The shade of the trees and the fun trail roads and paths make fore a perfect space to cool down after working in the arena.

Living and working in the beautiful outdoors of northern Wisconsin offers so many stunning vistas. Today’s special view was doing its best to stay hidden. Honestly I didn’t even see it until the rider behind me pointed it out then we quickly left to allow it some peace while it awaits its mommas return.

Sometimes all a horse kid needs is a slow moment with their pony quietly standing next to them after a long day at school.

Problem solving, sequencing, reading body language, empathy and understanding momentum and leverage are just a few of the skills riders often unknowingly are working on as we pair all of these things with fun & horses.
Horses provide a distraction to working on life skills. So while riders come home covered horse hair, dirt and a smile they also acquired some more life skills that will follow them for a lifetime.
Freda and Philbert here to wish all the moms out there HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
