Elias Ishoel Enters Rare Air With Third Straight Pro Snocross Championship

Elias Ishoel entered the final weekend of national snocross competition with a commanding lead in the Pro championship. That did not stop the two-time defending champ from finishing the season on full blast, as the young Norwegian star guided his XPS Ski-Doo to a sweep of the main events on Friday and Saturday night to tally wins number 10 and 11 of the 16 race campaign.

Elias Ishoel One Step Closer To 3-Peat

There are no Mulligans or do-overs in professional snocross racing. However, history has shown that almost every rider is prone to having at least one, if not two, “bad nights” during the course of the 16 round ISOC national snocross season.

For Elias Ishoel, those two nights may have come Friday and Saturday during the tour’s first-ever appearance at the historic World Championship Derby Complex in Eagle River, Wisconsin.

Friday schedule for Eagle River!

Injury Report: Pro Lite rider Jordan Lebel will be out the remainder of the season.
After sustaining a broken wrist on Friday during practice, it would be unlikely Jordan can return before the season ends in two weeks. Jordan had only raced 2 nations after sustaining a back injury in round one. Regardless of his short time racing this season, he has been able to obtain 2 national wins and 3 podiums. We wish Jordan a speedy recovery!

Elias Ishoel Sweeps Return Visit To ERX Motor Park

ERX Motor Park in Elk River, Minnesota serves at the BOSS Racing team’s home practice facility during the season. However, a complete redesign of the course for rounds 11 and 12 of the ISOC national snocross tour eliminated any home field advantage the team may have had. Nonetheless, Elias Ishoel dominated the weekend on his XPS/Ski-Doo as if he built the track himself, collecting his eighth and ninth wins of the 2021 campaign.
