Home of the World Championship Vintage Snowmobile Derby Prior to 2002 the Derby had been adding a few vintage class races to their championship weekend.
Vintage racing reached a pinnacle of revival at the World Championship Derby in 2002 when Vintage sleds occupied their own full weekend of racing. By 2000 it was becoming evident that Vintage was growing at a fast pace and needed more than a few slots at the Derby.
