Whew.. this looks so much like what happens under Eagle Road when our favorite river floods.

And this makes us absolutely love our friends at Boise River Greenbelt / Boise Parks and Recreation who just wouldn't let this happen. Ever.

FUN FACT FOLKS: In 2023 two days before the race, we did get a call that flooding was going to impact our course and we would have to reroute. That was fun.

Your kid doesn't have to be a runner to become a SoleKID.

Seriously.

They can be fast. Slow. Somewhere in between.

They can love running. They can be unsure about running. They can show up on Day 1 wondering why you signed them up for this!?!? 😂

We'll take it from there.

SoleKIDs is about more than preparing kids to run a 5K. It's about helping them discover what happens when they try something hard, keep showing up, encourage the kid next to them, and realize:

Wait... I CAN do this!!

That's why we say:

🏃 Fall SoleKIDs begins the week of September 21.
🏁 We celebrate together at the SoleKIDs 5K on November 14.

No running experience required. Just bring the kiddo, we'll help them find the runner in them!!
