Tonight just wasn’t our night at Tri-County Speedway. A wreck in front of the No. 5 with 2 laps to go left us with no where to go, Tryson made contact with the outside wall in effort to check up and then had no choice but to pile in. Certainly not the finish we wanted, but we’re thankful for the safety of U.S. Legend Cars International and INEX and that Tryson was able to walk away with nothing more than a little frustration and determination to be better.

While our Blue Chrome No. 5 is going to need a little love these next few weeks, there’s nothing to hang our heads about. We’ve put Tryson on three completely different tracks with some of the best in the country in the last week and he’s found his own way to overcome the obstacles, make speed, and get better.

We’re thankful for the support of MACC Door Systems, SAG Wraps, Lake Norris Chalets, Rollins Pest Control, ATA, Triune Trailer Sales, Cordell Motorsports, White Motorsports, Race Driven Performance, and so many others. None of this is easy, and their support makes it possible every week.

We’ve got a couple planned off weeks on deck which leaves us plenty of time to get the No. 5 car back in top shape before we finish out the 2026 season!

Left with the No. 5 in one piece, which feels like a big accomplishment after 75 laps 😅

In a really tight field of 25 cars made up of all classes, Tryson qualified 24th. It wasn’t quite where we wanted to be, but Tryson was set on making the most of it. He worked his way up to 14th before falling back to avoid the chaos and ended up crossing the line 18th.

Overall, we’re proud of the effort he put in and thankful for everyone who helped make it possible.

75 laps was really just the starting point for our weekend in SC. We’re heading to Dillon Motor Speedway today for practice ahead of another race tomorrow!

Officially have an 8th grader behind the wheel of the No. 5! 🥳

Pretty sure he’s wanted to be a Race Car Driver since we broke this sign out in Kindergarten. If only you had told us then how soon those dreams of his would have come to life!
