๐๐ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: LOREN MOLLENKOPF๐๐
Loren Mollenkopf is a senior on the competition team, an assistant teacher, and dancer of thirteen years.ย She currently attends Rensselaer High School and hopes to attend Hofstra University in the fall to major in dance. Loren is a musician in addition to being a dancer and she is part of her schoolโs jazz band.
Loren enjoys dance because it takes her mind off any rough day, and the people she is surrounded with at the studio bring her joy by supporting her and always cheering for her.ย She would like to thank Ms. Becki for always pushing her to her fullest potential and believing in her, even if it means yelling at her for talking too much in modern class.
Being a good role model at the studio is very important to Loren.ย She loves being like an "extra dance mom" to the younger team members by supporting them from the wings, and considers them best friends. Everyone at the studio creates such a supportive environment, always having fun and laughing hard at everything.ย She is always happy to see her ISD friends and teachers at the studio. ๐
Loren, your dedication to this team has never gone unnoticed. Whether you were on stage, assisting in the classroom, or cheering from the wings from the very first dance of the weekend to the very last, you have always been one of the team's biggest supporters and role models. We are so proud of all you have accomplished and can't wait to see you continue your journey - your ISD family will be cheering you on every step of the way. ๐

๐๐ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: ABIGAIL HARRIMAN๐๐
Abigail Harriman is a senior at La Salle Institute and is celebrating her 15th year of dance at The Isabelle School of Dance. She has been a dedicated member of the competition team for the past 9 years, creating countless memories and friendships along the way.
Outside of dance, Abigail enjoys reading, baking, hiking, gardening, and working out. This fall, she will attend University of Delaware, where she plans to major in political science and hopes to become a lawyer.
Abigail would like to thank her amazing parents for supporting her throughout her dance journey - especially her dad for the many drives to dance practice and her mom for helping her prepare for every dress rehearsal, competition, and recital.
One of Abbyโs favorite dance memories is playing the card game Spoons in the dressing room at competitions (using lipsticks as the โspoons") with her teammates during breaks between dances.
Abby would also like to thank Ms. Sherry, her very first dance teacher; Ms. Rebecca, who invited her to join the competition team and helped create so many wonderful memories; and Ms. Cait, who has taught and inspired her for many years, and whose choreography -- especially her senior solo -- will always hold a special place in her heart. ๐
Abby, you have been such a joy to teach and a bright light in class and on stage. You bring so much energy to everything you do, and your smart, driven spirit is matched by your big heart. We are so proud of you and canโt wait to see all the wonderful things you do next. ๐
