SUP Bro was an idea I came up with after being medically discharged from Naval Bootcamp this spring. I was sitting around with my hockey friends after a pick up game wondering where my life was going to go now and what I was going to do now that I was home. I was a waitress and I had been teaching and doing kayak and paddleboard lesson and tours for the last two summers. I was still in the middle of going to school. Did I want to do the same old same old again? I started thinking about all the things that could be improved on at the old place I worked. I started thinking about the customer. I started thinking about doing something fun, something different this summer. So as I'm sitting there listening to my friends talk I look at my friend Molly and say "Let's start a Paddleboarding company." That's how this started. I wanted to start a business that traveled around giving paddleboard lessons, tours, even some rentals. I wanted to go to the customer to make it easier. For the customer who is here on vacation with the family who disagrees on what to do that day with only one car. For the customer who isn't able to travel far or to a place of business. For the working customer who works late far from a place that has paddleboarding. For a lot of customers who just need it to be more convenient for them. Whether paddleboarding is something that you've always wanted to try or your friend is dragging you along or you're that person who is determined that you're going to fall after three seconds, we are determined to make it fun and successful for you as well as convenient.
