🚧 Course Update: Grand Reopening October 24th! 🚧

We’re extending our closure just a little longer. Wentworth Golf Course will now reopen on Friday, October 24th as we finish some exciting updates!

While our golfers expected greens maintenance, we’ve gone above and beyond. In addition to improving the course, we’re also making upgrades inside the clubhouse and bringing on new staff to enhance your experience from tee to table.

🚨 Wentworth Golf Club Update 🚨

The course will be closed for maintenance and will reopen on Monday, October 13th.

During this time:
The Swing for the Greens Tournament scheduled for Sunday, October 5th has been canceled.
The Scratch House Pub will also be closed.

We appreciate your patience as we focus on restoring the greens to the conditions our golfers expect and deserve.

We’ve been hard at work making improvements across the course, from fairways and bunkers to irrigation and equipment.

The Back 9 has been newly seeded, water systems are running, and our Pro Shop is fully restocked with fresh gear and a new team ready to welcome you.

A Note to Our Golfing Community:

We want to take a moment to address the feedback many of you have shared about course conditions at Wentworth Golf Club. Your voices are heard, and we recognize that the course has not been meeting the standards you expect, or that we expect of ourselves.

A malfunctioning irrigation pump has significantly impacted the conditions of our greens and surrounds. In addition, our Grounds Crew has been short-staffed, which has affected our ability to keep up with daily course care. While both issues are being addressed, we know this has caused frustration for our guests, and we take full responsibility.

Here’s what we want you to know:

The irrigation pump is in the process of being repaired, which is key to bringing the greens and surrounds back to life.

We’ve hired additional Grounds personnel and are actively interviewing to expand our team further.

We’ve reduced greens and cart fees in consideration of the current conditions.
In the meantime, our team is doing everything possible to maintain the course with the resources currently available.

We are committed to transparency and will continue to share updates on our progress.

We know many of you remember Wentworth as a well-groomed course. That’s what we are working hard to restore. Thank you to everyone who has shared honest reviews, it keeps us accountable and drives us to do better.
