Yoga & Ballet Alternatives offers classes for adults and teens in classical ballet. The Monday night ballet can accommodate beginners, 8:45-10:45 pm. Sunday Continuing Ballet meets 5:45-7:45 pm. Interested participants need to contact Suzanne (517.980.1686). All classes meet for two hours and run in terms of 5-8 weeks, depending on the season. Walk-ins are allowed for classes that have made the base enrollment to run. All classes are taught by Suzanne Wingate, director/teacher. Suzanne holds a dance degree from Butler University and has taught ballet at Michigan State University as well as Lansing Community College. She has also been on faculty at Olivet College, teaching both ballet and yoga.
