⭐️COACHES SPOTLIGHT⭐️
Head Coach: Richard Saphore

How long have you been coaching tennis?
This is my fifth year coaching tennis, and each season has been a wonderful experience. I have been lucky to work with so many outstanding student-athletes at Beaver Local.

What is your favorite part of coaching?
The best part of coaching is having the chance to make a positive difference in the girls’ lives and watching them grow—not just as athletes, but also as young women. They are so much fun to be around, and I enjoy hearing about what is happening in their lives and being part of their high school journey.

Tell us a little about yourself!
I began coaching tennis at Beaver Local in 2021, and all four of my daughters attended Beaver Local. I currently work in the Civil Engineer Department at the 911th Airlift Wing. After 29 years of service, I retired from the United States Army in 2018. I also own SA4 Training Solutions, LLC. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and four daughters, who have all attended Beaver Local.

I am proud to be part of the Beaver Local community and grateful for every opportunity to support our student-athletes. Go Beavers!
