To all High School Players,
As we continue to move forward through unprecedented times as a club, we are continuing to work closely with Illinois Youth Soccer on the status of our Spring soccer seasons. As of now, the details remain unclear on a start date but a season is projected to happen at some point next year. With the current Covid-19 restrictions in place, we are unable to have an in person tryout like years past. Team formulation for the spring 2021 season will be based off of registration numbers and a D.O.C. selection process for the roster selections. The registration link has now been posted on our website at www.emssc.org. The Director of Coaching is asking all High School aged players to register as soon as possible in an effort to plan out teams, coaches and uniforms. There is no cost for registration at this time. Once IYSA finalizes the details of the spring season and start dates are confirmed, EMSSC will communicate with all registered players. We appreciate everyone's patience during these abnormal times, if anyone has questions feel free to contact Mooch, our Director of Coaching, at [email protected].

Competitive tryout registration extended through June 23rd. EMSSC is looking to add a few more players to a few teams. Specifically, but not limited to the following ages:
Girls - 2011, 2010, 2007, 2006 & High School
Boys - 2013, 2012 & 2011

Deontae Nache EMSSC U14 RENEGADES was selected to the Midwest Region ODP ID Camp. The regional camp brings top players from the Midwest to play for high level coaches and college coaches to display their skills in hopes of being selected to represent the Midwest Region. The camp is currently delayed due to COVID 19 with the selection process continuing to November 2020.

[03/27/20]   Hello soccer families!

We wanted to provide the latest information we have regarding the start of spring soccer.

The EMSSC Rec and Competitive Soccer programs for spring are still postponed. We are working to get a date that we can start practices and games. EMSSC is a part of the Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA) and we must follow their guidelines. At this time, IYSA has stated that no practices or games may start prior to April 15th. This may change as new guidelines arise. We appreciate your patience and are anxiously awaiting spring soccer! Communication will be sent out as it is provided to us.

Good afternoon from your Director of Coaching!! I hope all of our EMSSC families are staying safe and healthy during this difficult time. As the weather begins to improve, I hope our players are finding ways to get touches on the ball and build up their fitness levels for a season that will eventually happen. Although we cannot yet train and play games together, I know many have already started to get active and have been working on their own. As a show of support, feel free to share any photos or videos you may have of our EMSSC players training at home. You can share them here in the comments section, tag our page with your post, or just share on your own public feed. As long as players are finding ways to get in the work and stay happy, I know we will get through this together. I wish you all the best, and stay safe.

It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of the 2nd Annual Quad City Spring Shootout. We are hoping for a tournament in the fall and that you will join us then! We also anticipate our regular tournament in spring 2021. We look forward to seeing everyone in the fall and next spring! If your team registered, your team contact will hear from our tournament director about your refund. If you have not heard from the director by Monday, March 23rd, please reach out to [email protected]. Thank you and we appreciate your understanding!

With the IYSA mandates regarding delaying the start of the spring soccer season, EMSSC is cancelling the Top Soccer program for spring 2020. If you registered, we will contact you directly. We will begin the program with the fall 2020 season, starting in September. Thank you for understanding and we hope to see our Top Soccer athletes in the fall!

Due to Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA) guidelines, we will not be able to start our spring season at its desired time. As of now we will not have practices starting until after March 31st. We will keep everyone up to date as we learn more.

EMSSC is very excited to have Top Soccer start in May!
