With the heaviest of hearts, the East Palo Alto Razorhawks mourn the loss of one of our own, Dominic Peterson.
Dominic has been a Razorhawk since the beginning. For eight years, we had the privilege of watching him grow through our program not only as a rugby player, but into an incredible young man. He was no stranger to us. Dominic is family.
The Razorhawks were his second home, and Dominic will forever be part of ours.
We watched him grow from a young Razorhawk into a talented athlete who went on to represent the United States with the USA U19 Men’s Rugby Team and continue his rugby journey at Saint Mary’s. We were incredibly proud of him, but even more proud of the person he became.
Dominic brought so much more than talent to the field. His smile, his work ethic, his heart, and the way he encouraged those around him are what we will remember most. He represented what we hope every young Razorhawk carries with them long after they leave our field.
Our hearts are shattered. We extend our deepest love, prayers, and condolences to the Peterson family, his Saint Mary’s teammates and coaches, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving Dominic.
Thank you, Dominic, for allowing the Razorhawks to be part of your journey. It was an honor watching you grow up, and an even greater honor calling you one of ours.
Once a Razorhawk, always a Razorhawk❤️🖤
Rest in love, Dominic.
Razorhawk forever. 🕊️
