Peoria Skeet and Trap Club Recreational S***t and Trap Club in East Peoria, IL

We are here for you:

-To encourage and promote the shooting of clay targets in the sport of s***t and trap

-To provide and maintain grounds and facilities for members and public to engage in the sport of s***t and trap shooting

-To encourage and promote a social atmosphere with clean sportsmanship, friendly competition and goodwill

- To provide instruction to members and public in the safe handling and use of shotguns

- To develop a desire among all to share and grow our sport with others – encouraging others to join the fun

It was a long time coming, but last week the club dedicated a tree planted on field #4 last fall in the memory of club Life Member George Beres.
George passed away on December 12, 2023 at the age of 96 and was still shooting the occasional round of S***t up until about a year prior to his passing.
George was the longest continuous member of the club, having joined in 1948! He was a member for 75 years.
George was a fixture in the central Illinois community and one of the kindest human beings you could ever hope to meet. It was an honor to have known him.
