Day 45/100:
Eight years of gymnastics together, and we forgot to take our handstand picture during Mercedes’ “not-goodbye” practice. 😂
So naturally… we FaceTimed it.
Because distance, injuries, retirement—and apparently even technology—don’t get to end the story.
This isn’t goodbye, sweet girl. It’s just another way of becoming. 💕🐝

As college teammates, I don’t think either of us would’ve predicted this.

Years later, we’re sharing ideas, sharing laughs, working to make gymnastics even better, and apparently still doing handstands in parking lots.

Show Me Week 💕

Twenty-six years ago, a little girl walked into RGA for gymnastics.

Her parents sat in the lobby, drove her to practice, cheered at meets, and watched her grow.

Years later, that same gymnast became one of my coaches, helping the next generation of girls discover their own courage and confidence.

And this week, she stood beside her daughter as she celebrated her very first Show Me Week.

Even more special? Her parents were there too—once again sitting in the gym, cheering on their little girl. Only this time, that little girl was a mom, watching her own daughter shine.

Twenty-six years.
Three generations.
Countless cartwheels.

Moments like these remind me that what we build here lasts far beyond gymnastics.

💛 This is More Than Cartwheels.
🐝 This is family.

Day 17/100 Handstands
"oh!!! Did you see that one!"

Day 1/100 ✔️
Today I decided to spend the next 100 days going upside down.

Not because I’m training for anything.

Not because I’m trying to be great at handstands.

Because I still love gymnastics.

Because movement matters.

Because play matters.

Because I want to stay curious, strong, and brave enough to try.

The word Renaissance means rebirth, revival or renewed interest.

For more than 20 years, I’ve watched kids discover confidence by trying things they weren’t sure they could do.

Maybe this is my turn.

Five upside downs a day.
One hundred days.

Let’s see what happens. 💕
