Conner Simonetti, one of the best to ever swing the bat out of the 585 is officially back open for lessons! Visit the link in our bio to register today!

Simonetti graduated from Fairport High School in 2013 where he led his team to two Class AAA Sectional Titles in 2011 and 2013. He was named to the All-Greater Rochester team in 2011, 2012, and 2013. Simonetti hit .618 his senior season and was named All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year. He currently holds the Section V Career Homerun with 25 HR’s. He was drafted in the 35th Round of the 2013 MLB Draft by the Cincinnati Reds.

Simonetti attended Kent State University where he had 31 career HR’s including 17 during his junior season, 96 career RBI and had a career 0.928 OPS. He was drafted in the 13th Round of the 2016 MLB by the Washington Nationals.

He went on to hit .264 with 8 HR’s and 29 RBI in 48 career Minor league games with the GCL Nationals and Auburn Doubledays. He had a career .991 fielding percentage in the Minors.

He was signed by the Lake Erie Crushers in the Frontier League in 2017. Hit .303 with 16 extra-base hits, including 5 homeruns, and 21 RBI in 46 games.

We are excited to announce the addition of Emily Trotman, current pitching coach at St John Fisher College, former Empire 8 Woman of the Year, Empire 8 Player of the Year, and one of the most decorated softball players in Fisher history, to our instructor staff.

A native of Buffalo, New York, Trotman played high school softball at Mount St. Mary Academy where she was recently elected into the Hall of Fame in 2022. Emily was a 4-year starter at Fisher where she was a utility player and pitcher. On top of being 2021 Woman of the Year, Female Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year, Player of the Year, she was also named Second Team All-American by NFCA.

Emily will also be assisting with the development of our first ever softball team, the Diamond Pro 10u Canes.

Emily has been giving pitching, hitting, and fielding lessons for the past five years. Check the link in our Bio in the coming days as her lesson availability will be posted soon.

Diamond Pro Baseball is seeking 7u eligible players interested in joining our newly formed 7u Canes Program.

The 7u Program will be coached by two of the best high school coaches in the area.

Brandon Derosa: Entering his 8th season as varsity baseball coach of Class A powerhouse, Pittsford Sutherland. Coach Derosa led Sutherland to sectional championships in 2017, 2019, and 2022. His 2017 team captured a regional championship and advanced to the state final four.

Tony Fuller: Entering his 7th season as varsity baseball coach of Class AA powerhouse, McQuaid Jesuit. Coach Fuller led McQuaid to sectional and regional championships in 2017, 2019, and 2022. His 2019 & 2022 teams were also crowned Class AA New York State Champions.

We are excited to announce registration is live for our upcoming catching clinics, ran by 2010 15th round draft pick of the Atlanta Braves, Cory Brownsten. Cory was also tabbed in 2012 by Baseball American, the defensive player of the year for the South Atlantic League.

Cory has been instrumental in the development of numerous catchers in the past 9 years as assistant baseball coach at NJCAA division II powerhouse, Monroe Community College.

2024 Catcher out of Pittsford Sutherland High School, Max Vorrasi has committed to UMASS Boston to play division III baseball in the Little East Conference. The Beacons have advanced to the D3 College World Series on three occasions since 2010.

Max has been part of our DP Canes Program since he was 12 years old. He is a kind, intelligent, highly motivated young man. We couldn't be happier for him for this opportunity to continue his academic and athletic career.

2024 OF/LHP Reid Martin (Dansville) has committed to SUNY Cortland to play division III baseball for one of the top programs in the country.

Reid has been part of our DP Canes program since he was 11 years old. We are so excited for him for this incredible opportunity.

After playing up in 16u the entire summer to challenge themselves and prepare for varsity baseball next spring, this group came together for the final tournament of the year and played in their age group and proved they are the most talented group at their group in the area.

Congratulations to our 11u National team taking home the PBRT Youth World Series this weekend in Cortland, NY.

They finished with a 5-0 record through pool play and bracket play to take home the title. Great all around team effort!
