Mindful Turtle Yoga

This workshop is geared toward newer or less-experienced students who are interested in deepening their practice! Many students may feel called to try a greater variety of classes but also feel like they can’t “keep up” in a moderate or vinyasa flow class. This workshop will break down a lot of intricacies and nuances of a faster-paced or more succinct-moving class.

There will be a focus on the foundations of a flow class such as:
Sun salutations
What it means to “take a vinyasa”
Chaturanga alignment and how to modify
Places where we get “stuck” or feel left behind, like stepping forward from downward dog, and transitioning from standing to seated postures
Alignment in common standing postures like the Warrior Poses, Triangle Pose, Side Angle Pose

Saturday 5/16 12:15-2:15pm, $45 or $40 if purchased 3 days or more prior to event.

This event will include sound healing with quartz crystal singing bowls, Indian flute, channeled toning, and reiki; Karin employs a unique use of modalities taught only to a select group of healers trained by Sufi healer, Nubia. Some of the music played developed out of the musical traditions between India, the middle east, and inspiration from Vedic chanting. The sound healing is designed to lead you into wholeness and balance within and may help release physical, spiritual, and emotional blocks.

This event also includes 5-10 minutes of journaling to set the intention of healing, as well as a crystal grid. Crystals will be arranged in a geometric formation using the principles of sacred geometry and frequency healing to allow the energy to flow through our crown chakra while we receive the sound healing. The crystals are included and yours to keep as your gift.

The crystal grid theme will focus on gathering and connection, integrating and elevating our spiritual journey.
