While staff may have been busy packing the community center for the upcoming renovations, program planning hasn’t stopped!

Stroud Recreation is looking forward to getting back into the parks for the fall season with both new programs and the return of some our favorites.

Have you heard… Big things are happening at the Day Street Community Center! 🎨🏀

We’re about to start the major renovations—new floors, fresh paint, and a revitalized gym! Now, we need your help to stock our new Art Studio and update our winter gym equipment.

A note from our Recreation Manager: ~Since starting my journey as the Recreation Manager for SROSRC/Stroud Rec in September 2025, I’ve had so much fun creating various events for our community! Whether in our parks or our community center, there is an abundance of opportunities available. The renovation of the community center will allow us to plan for so many more activities, as we will have additional space available, and I already have lots of ideas in mind! Donations of items on our wish list will help Stroud Rec provide our community with positive and supportive environment to gather for free & low cost programs.

We were so grateful to have a beautiful morning for our Photography Walk at Pinebrook Park.

I was lucky to capture the beauty of the park using my phone camera. *as an amateur photographer, I was happy with the results 😉

Thanks to the generosity of Lowe’s and our community, the Day Street Community Center is being transformed with new flooring, fresh paint, and much needed gym upgrades.

Burgers for a cause! 🍔

$90k down, $10k to go! Our dream of revitalizing the Day Street Community Center is almost a reality. Every dinner at Red Robin directly funds the essential equipment, supplies, and furnishings that will turn a renovated building into a welcoming community home.

Small actions add up fast, and your meal makes a real difference. Every single burger (or salad, or appetizer, or dessert...) helps us cross the finish line!

After a busy summer camp and pool season, we are excited to start fall programs!

Stroud Recreation offers activities for all ages. We welcome families, children, adults, seniors - anyone that is interested in connecting with our community.

We strive to offer free and low cost options for all to enjoy.

You can find all of our public programs under the recreation tab on our website, stroudrec.org or you can click the bold black links for more information on these upcoming events:
