Have you honestly honored your mother today?
Can you see her at your age dealing and living life in her time? Especially when raising kids.
She will always be your mother.
Can you see her as a person yet?
Ok, I believe I have your attention now.
She was once a child too. She lived life the way it was handed to her. But she grew. She lived and realized she made mistakes along the way and she can’t change that. However, She knows and holds that in grief for not knowing how to make up for it. And as the kids get older there is a hoping point of acceptance and understanding. To know you know and you have the ability to change the story going forward for yourself and for generations to come. You were chosen and created to be better than you ever thought imaginable. That is the gift of life.
I was at the light of my understanding at the age of twenty four. My mom visited and we had the best conversation and visit then she was gone. I didn’t get the version of living life with her, seeing her meeting her grandchildren and just talking and listening to her.
Open up to your mom. She may not know how to always guide you but I bet she will always be there for you to listen. Just call. Give it a try if your mom is still here. 💫💜✨
