It’s that time of year! We’re hosting a mini comp for Halloween (with the winners receiving some cool prizes?! 👀) as well as just hanging out, eating snacks and wearing silly costumes! Tag a friend who likes dynos!

Ever played Add-On? Want to learn? Come up to the gym on Mondays after 5pm and play! Add-On is a great training game to play with other climbers to help keep your skills up as the outdoor climbing season winds down for the fall. Come and go as you please, hang out with friends or make some new ones!

That’s right climbers, coop members (those with an active monthly membership or an active punch pass) can now bring a first time climber with them for free for their first time! This would be anyone who has never climbed with us at Paradiso before and is limited to one new guest per member per day. Bring some friends and get climbing!

Meet the board! Our new board members are helping to keep things organized and running smoothly here at the gym ✨ This is Alex, our social media/merch/marketing board member. His goal is to help get Paradiso’s name out there and keep our website and social media informative and running smoothly, as well as helping coordinate new gym merch! If there’s something you want to see made, get in touch with Alex and he’ll see if we can make it happen ✨

Hello climbers! Here at Paradiso, our pricing hasn’t changed since we first opened-but a LOT else has changed, so we decided it was time to make some updates. We believe these changes will not only help us better the gym but will be better for everyone who comes to climb with us as well. Thanks for looking and feel free to DM us with any questions!

There’s no better way to get stoked for climbing than watching world-class athletes perform at the top of the sport! “The Dawn Wall” follows Tommy Caldwell’s historic ascent up an imposing Yosemite icon, cementing his place as a bona fide big wall adventurer as well as pop climbing icon. All are welcome! Feel free to bring friends, or food and drink you’d like to share! See you there 🍿

We’ve been continuing our bylaws mini sessions to draft the new bylaws which will govern the gym, and the next one is tomorrow, 5/30 at 7pm on discord. The bylaws will ultimately be voted on for final approval, but we want all our voices to be heard while they’re being crafted so tune in tomorrow! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Similarly, our next monthly meeting is June 7th at 7pm (can be attended in person at the gym or via discord!). We’ll be discussing all kinds of important goings on and the meeting will last about an hour. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We’re trying something new on the 10 degree wall! It’s been reset with a tape system (directions are posted in the gym for those unfamiliar with how it works). We want to hear everyone’s opinions on this! Leave some comments here, over on discord, at the monthly meeting, or in the suggestion box at the gym ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We’ve also acquired some new padding and foam (well, new to us anyway) and are currently discussing how to best utilize it to improve the gym. We will post updates about this as we figure things out, but for now any of us who would like to get involved with this process/help out can check out the discord for details and discussions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It should be roughly two hours and there will be some snacks ✨ This is free to all members and punch pass holders so if you’ve ever been interested in learning how to route set, or if you already know but want to hone your skills, now is the time!
